Meet Creative Quo
Amish Country Shopper is not an anonymous directory. It is built, written, hosted and maintained by Creative Quo. We are a full scale marketing agency that specialize in both digital and print marketing.
Why we created Amish Country Shopper
Our work is helping small businesses get found online. Most of the time that means a website, a Google listing and content that answers what people are actually searching for. Then we started getting calls from a kind of business that none of it fit.
Amish and Plain business owners produce some of the finest furniture, buildings, framing, roofing and food in the country. Their businesses are built the old way — word of mouth, face-to-face dealing, and a reputation for honest work handed down through generations. That works beautifully within the community. But most of these families have chosen a way of life that doesn’t include an internet connection or a website of their own, and craftsmanship this good deserves to be found by the people searching for it.
The gap was obvious once we saw it. Customers were searching for exactly what these shops build and finding national retailers instead. Amish Country Shopper was created to close that gap in a way that honors how these businesses choose to work: we publish the page, the business owns the work, and no one needs to own a computer to be found.
What we actually do — and what we do not
Being precise about this matters, because it is what a business owner is buying.
What we can do: help write the copy needed for the page, take or collect the photographs, publish and host the page, keep the details accurate, make sure the business name, address and telephone number match what appears on Google, and update anything the owner asks us to change.
We won’t do: take orders, process payments, handle shipping, manage customer service or take a commission on anything sold. Enquiries go straight from the customer to the business, by telephone.
What else does Creative Quo Do?
Marketing Strategy, Graphic Design & Print, Digital Services
Beyond business listings, we offer strategic marketing, graphic design and print, and digital services including e-commerce websites, SEO, and social media management. Whether you’re growing a local business or just getting started, we’d love to help.

Pages We Built
The clearest way to judge a publisher is to look at what it has already published. Two examples, both live:
Kentucky Barns in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, sells custom sheds, barns, gazebos, pavilions and greenhouses. Their page ranks first in Google for their own business name and every variant of it, and it is the single most visited page on this site. That is a verifiable result, not a claim.
Bricker Builders in Panama, New York, frames houses and commercial buildings for general contractors across Western New York. Their page was rewritten in 2026 around what contractors actually search for, rather than around how the business describes itself internally.

About us
Who Is Creative Quo
Creative Quo is a full-scale marketing agency specializing in marketing strategy, graphic design and print, and digital marketing. Owned by Emily Miller, our team is skilled and seasoned in each of these fields, and we love helping businesses in our community get found by the customers looking for them.
We don’t believe you have to own a website for customers to be able to search for you and find you. That belief is why Amish Country Shopper exists — and it’s our own project, not a client’s. We own the domain, pay for the hosting, and answer for every word that appears here.
That ownership matters for a directory. Nothing on this site is scraped, syndicated, or automatically generated. Every listing began with a conversation with the person who runs the business, and every page is read back to that person before it goes live.
How the listing model works
Each listed business gets a page of its own on this domain. It carries their name, their photographs, their products and their contact details, and it is presented as their own page rather than as a row in someone else’s catalogue. That distinction is what makes the arrangement acceptable in many church districts, and it is worth understanding properly before you decide.
The full explanation — how the page appears to visitors, what the church-permission question actually turns on, what happens to enquiries, and what it costs — is set out on why advertise on Amish Country Shopper.
